The LiftGator is designed to attach to the rear of a pickup. One person can install it in under three minutes.

MOBILITY MADE EASY

Pushing a standard manual wheelchair can be tough, but with the IntelliWheels Easy Push, pushing instantly becomes twice as easy. The IntelliWheels Easy Push uses simple gears in each wheel to make it significantly easier to push forwards, backwards, around corners, and over any surface.

Intelliwheels: Why not gears for a wheelchair?

VentureWell, March 24, 2015, https://venturewell.org/intelliwheels-why-not-gears-for-a-wheelchair/

“If a two-wheeled bicycle can have gears to ease the effort, he thought, why not a wheelchair? The company that would come to be known as Intelliwheels was born.”

“Today, Intelliwheels is on a roll, so to speak, flush with cash and working towards their goal of becoming a marketable medical device. In August, Intelliwheels was awarded a $1.5 million Stage 2 SBIR grant from NIH and the company has hired two additional engineers.”

OUR Entrepid Network – Introducing David Heath, Emily Hofstetter and Bombas Socks

www.bombas.com

One Pair Purchased = One Pair Donated

In their own words. Source: https://bombas.com/pages/about-us

GAME-CHANGING SOCKS THAT HAVE TO BE FELT TO BE BELIEVED

We set out to rethink a product that was an afterthought. We spent two years on research & development to create our dream sock. We fixed the things we didn’t like about conventional socks and invented innovative new features, all in the pursuit of extreme comfort.

BEFORE LAUNCHING BOMBAS, WE LEARNED THAT SOCKS WERE THE NUMBER ONE MOST REQUESTED CLOTHING ITEM AT HOMELESS SHELTERS.

So we started a company with the goal of solving that problem. For every pair of socks we sell, we donate a pair to someone in need. The more socks we sell, the more we can donate.

And to sell a lot of socks, we knew we had to design the best sock on the market.
